Lake Spirit – These translucent, phosphorescent beings use their tentacle–like pseudopods to grab prey. Their rudimentary nervous systems can reabsorb the pseudopods when facing danger.
Yavin 4, Gordian Reach Sector, Outer Tim
The remote gas giant of Yavin has three habitable moons. Yavin 4 varies from temperate to tropical and has a violent wet season and a dry season.
Aquatic gundarks – Their many eyes let them see below and above the water at the same time. They eat smaller animals like runyips and whisper birds.
Anglers – Like the gundark, these crustaceans/arachnids have many eyes. They dangle their root-like tentacle-claws below the surface and “fish” for prey.
Armored eels – They like to live in rivers.
Crawlfish – These crustaceans can grow to be a meter and a half long and are covered in chitin. They like spring-fed pools and are edible.
Crystal snakes – These venomous reptiles have translucent flesh so they are hard to see. Look for a small shimmer of light in the water or its deep black eyes.
Mucous salamanders – They like their bogs. They can diffuse their molecular structure when underwater, allowing them to pass through nets and swim faster. When they enter a dry area, they harden into scales. Another name for them is the pinkish salamander.

Shador, Mid Rim
Shadorian slime crabs – These crustaceans are kept separately from other creatures because Shador has an atmosphere so foul most humanoids find it painful to breathe.
