Shadow barnacles – these silica parasites anchor themselves to buildings by feeder roots, and they retract into their shell when threatened. They release their eggs seeds and sperm pollen into the air. Look close, and you can see their mouth, pods, and retractable anchor tendrils and external gill filaments. They move around on their clawed legs.

Glowfish – believe it or not, they are native to Coruscant. Isn’t the light they generate lovely?

Spira, Lytton Sector, Core L–10

Camray eels – these large predators live primarily in the Shinkai Abyss. Watch one open its mouth and reveal its sharp teeth. They can crush their prey, often silver fish, with their long bodies. They are also dangerous to divers on Spira, which has caused upper class hunters to be interested in hunting them. Out of the water, they smell terrible, but don't worry, we keep them in water.

Galub sea slugs – these huge, grub–white parasites like to adhere to larger sea animals and suck their blood. They aren't very intelligent, for they can mistake yachts for food!

Tralus, Corellian Sector, Core, M–11

Styanax – These ferocious, serpentine predators have thickly armored heads, strong jaws, and a poisonous, paralyzing stinger in their tails. They can see in dark water.
